What dance actually costs

We publish our numbers upfront so you can plan. No surprise fees, no "we'll tell you at enrollment" runaround.

The categories

Dance at Reverence has three main costs:

Monthly tuition — your class fee, paid monthly. Amount depends on class length (45 min, 60 min, 75 min, 90 min) and how many classes per week your dancer takes. Multi-class and multi-student discounts apply.

One-time registration fee — a single annual fee at the start of each season. Covers enrollment administration, studio materials, and a small discretionary fund that helps us offer aid to families who need it.

Recital participation — an opt-in annual fee if your dancer performs in the spring recital. Covers costumes, video/photo package, theater venue, and the recital program. Published at the start of each season.

What's NOT a surprise charge

We hear from transfer families about studios that charge for every unexpected thing — special events, mandatory recital fees, required competition fees, costume cleaning, repeat accessories. Here's what you will not be charged for at Reverence:

  • Makeup classes (up to 2 per season, free)
  • Observation hours (free; always included)
  • Open house events (free and public)
  • Seasonal showcases smaller than the spring recital (free)
  • Studio parties and community gatherings (free)
  • Email communications or studio newsletters (free)

What will actually cost money is clearly on your enrollment paperwork. We review every line with you before you sign.

Specific tuition rates

Specific monthly tuition rates for each class are available at enrollment and can be shared anytime by email if you want to plan ahead. We publish them to our registration portal as soon as the season's schedule is finalized.

Rates typically range from approximately $60–$140 per month depending on class length and frequency. Multi-class and multi-student discounts reduce per-class costs significantly — families with 2+ dancers often pay notably less per dancer than a single-dancer family.

For specific numbers for your situation, email us with your dancer's age and interests; we'll send a quote within one business day.

Financial aid

Reverence offers limited financial assistance for families who need it. We have never turned away a committed family over cost.

How it works: an informal conversation with the studio owner. Not an application with paperwork and determination letters. You share what you can afford; we find a way to make it work.

What we ask in return: honest communication, showing up consistently, and — when circumstances change — letting us know so we can adjust.

Scholarship families: there are currently several scholarship dancers at our studio. Their families tell us they've never felt different or less welcome. We keep aid arrangements private.

How payment works

Monthly auto-pay is our default. Tuition is charged on the 1st of each month to a card or bank account on file.

Alternatives if auto-pay doesn't work for your family: we offer full-season payment upfront (with a small discount), or paper-based monthly payment. We will always find a workable arrangement.

Billing questions go to the studio owner directly — not to a call center or billing service. Real people, real responses.
