Dance as worship, technical excellence as stewardship
Faith integration at Reverence
How our Christian foundation shapes teaching in a way that honors artistic excellence and welcomes families of every background.

Four commitments
Our approach to faith and dance
We believe dance can be an expression of faith that honors both artistic excellence and spiritual growth.
Biblical Foundation
Our approach is rooted in scripture that celebrates dance as a form of worship and expression.
Age-Appropriate Integration
Faith concepts are woven into classes in ways that respect each dancer's developmental stage — never heavy-handed, never beyond where a child is.
Inclusive Community
While founded on Christian values, we welcome and respect families from all backgrounds. Faith is an invitation, never a requirement.
Character Development
We intentionally nurture qualities like perseverance, humility, and gratitude alongside technique.
What this looks like in practice
Faith shows up most in our culture — in patience, encouragement, and how we speak about each dancer's gifts. It is present in concrete, small ways: a short moment of prayer or a themed reflection at the start or close of class, choreography that draws from themes of hope, gratitude, and renewal, and our seven core values that shape every correction and every celebration.
It does not show up as pressure. We do not test theology, require statements of belief, or treat faith as a condition of participation in our non-ministry classes. Dancers and families who don't share our faith tradition are not "tolerated" — they're welcomed as full members of our community, and their presence strengthens us.
For families who share our faith: we hope you find a studio where technique and worship are both taken seriously, where the excellence of the craft is offered as an act of devotion, and where your dancer grows in character alongside their art.
For families who don't: we hope you find a studio where respect, modesty, and a nurturing environment are real and visible, where your dancer is celebrated for who they are, and where faith is present as part of our identity without ever being required of yours.
If you have questions about how this plays out for your specific family, please reach out. We'd rather have a real conversation than have you guess.
What families experience
“My daughters have been dancing at Reverence for 14 years. We absolutely love Reverence with all of our hearts. It's been a fantastic, positive, and upbeat atmosphere for them. The teachers are so kind and patient and give the dancers a sense of positive self-worth. This studio has changed my daughters' lives and mine for the better. ”
“After a negative experience at another studio, we were hesitant to try again. Reverence has completely restored my daughter's love for dance in a pressure-free environment. ”
“As a first-time dance parent, I was nervous about what to expect. From day one, Reverence made us feel welcome and provided clear guidance every step of the way. Our daughter looks forward to class each week! ”
“We weren't sure how a Christian studio would feel for our family. Reverence surprised us with how genuinely welcoming the community is. The technical instruction is strong, modesty and respect are real, and our daughter has never felt out of place. ”
“Reverence has been a blessing for our family. The instructors create such a positive environment where my daughter has thrived both technically and personally. ”
“As a working parent with a busy schedule, I appreciate how organized and communicative Reverence is. Everything from registration to recitals is streamlined and clear. ”
